PHPmyAdmin password

I keep getting told wrong Username/Password when I try to access PHPmyAdmin? I have a user Id and password. What else do I have to do?

Username and password are all you need. Sometimes IE doesn't pass info correctly, try FF.

Have you made a MySQL database?
The user name will have a prefix to like database_.

I have the same problem!
It rejects my password and doesnt let me in! Im kinda desperate right now, please anyone, is there any way to find out what the password is?

you have to have your account username before your database/user name eg:
say your account is forum & your database is host, and your user for your database is root it would be like this:

forum_host <--database name
forum_root <--username

of course replace them with your creditials

I'm having that name problem. I can't get into my PHPAdmin when I enter my username and password. What am I doing wrong?
